POKER STARS 2005 - WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF ONLINE POKER
$8 million in prize pool
The 4th annual World Championship of Online Poker will take place starting September 4th, 2005. The WCOOP will have 15 thrilling poker events during it’s 15 days, with a prize pool guaranteed of at least $8 million! The WCOOP is the world's foremost online poker tournament, and is attractive for every poker player. This year's events will include Texas Hold’em No-Limit, Pot-Limit and Limit games, Omaha Pot-Limit and Limit High/Low, and Stud High and High/Low.
Poker Stars has introduced three WCOOP new events:
1. No-Limit Hold’em Triple Shootout
2. No-Limit Hold’em Match Play
3. Pot-Limit Hold’em event with up to six players per table.
The WCOOP’s main event – the No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournament – will offer a minimum of $2.5 million in guaranteed prizes!
Qualifying tournaments and Satellites for the 2005 WCOOP begin Sunday, July 17, 2005. Satellites will run nonstop to make sure that this year's 15-tournaments WCOOP continues to shatter records keep its title as the world's largest online poker tournament.
Poker Stars is also putting up $1 million of their own money to ensure that loyal players can get in the game. There are free
